What is Auto Dispute and how does it work?

Auto Disputing enables users to take manual work out of the disputing process. This feature is available for all Lowe's deduction code types, but will likely be most valuable with disputing shortages where SupplyPike can help gather all the available proof documentation automatically.

On the Auto Dispute Settings page the user can set the attachment criteria, as well as the dollar threshold if desired, and then we'll handle the rest, magically! Auto Dispute settings can be set on the deduction code level, allowing you to pick and choose which deductions you would like SupplyPike to handle automatically.

How do I set up Auto Dispute?

Click on the cog in the top right-hand corner of the Lowe's home page. This will take you to the Supplier Settings Page, and from here you can configure settings for Auto Dispute.

From The Auto Disputing page, you have the ability to configure auto disputing for specific codes listed in the settings. After you have selected which codes you want to Auto Dispute, you can choose attachments criteria for each one via the dropdown menu.

At the bottom of the page, you can choose to set a maximum dollar threshold amount for auto-disputed deductions. By entering a number into the Amount Limit field it will create a cap for deductions that will not be auto-disputed. Any deduction greater than the limit set will not qualify for auto-disputing.

Can I set up Auto Re-Disputing?

Additionally, you can configure your Dispute Settings to automatically re-dispute after a dispute is denied. Enter the number of auto dispute attempts you would like the SupplyPike system to automatically handle. SupplyPike will automatically dispute up to 7 times. After that, manual re-disputing is required for any additional attempts at disputing.

All code, attachment and amount criteria will still apply to auto re-disputes. All previous dispute reasons and documents will be submitted with the re-disputes. Any new documents located from integrations after the initial denial will be added to any subsequent re-dispute attempts.

Is there anything SupplyPike won't Auto-Dispute?

SupplyPike will only Auto Dispute deductions that meet the criteria configured in the settings. In addition, we will not dispute any shortage related deduction where there was at least one overage line found. In instances where there is an overage line, a user might want to review the lines before submitting the dispute. Shortage deductions with an overage line can still be disputed individually from the Deduction Details page.
