Common Use Cases
Data Reconciliation with ERP or Accounting Systems: Users can export multi-retailer deduction data from SupplyPike to compare and reconcile it with data in their ERP or accounting software. This helps ensure that all deductions recorded in SupplyPike align with their financial records, preventing discrepancies, missed deductions, or accounting errors. With filters, users can isolate specific time periods, deduction types, or retailers, making it easier to match entries and verify that all financial impacts are accurately captured across systems. This kind of reconciliation can be crucial for accurate financial reporting, especially if the accounting team relies on SupplyPike as a primary source of deduction information.
Reporting for Stakeholders: Users can generate comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders or leadership, presenting an aggregated view of deductions that saves time and eliminates the need to compile data from multiple exports. This is especially useful for executive updates or quarterly business reviews.
Portfolio-Wide Financial Analysis: Users can analyze the total financial impact of deductions across all their SupplyPike retailers, helping them identify patterns, trends, and areas where they're losing the most revenue. They can filter by deduction types (e.g., shipping, damaged goods) to find out which deductions are most frequent or costly.
Targeted Dispute Strategy: With retailer-specific filters, users can focus on retailers with higher deduction volumes or more complex disputes. This allows them to target high-impact opportunities for disputing and prioritize by retailer or deduction type to improve recovery rates.
Operational Efficiency Audits: Exporting data across retailers can help users spot discrepancies in deduction causes or patterns, suggesting where operational improvements might reduce recurring deduction issues (e.g., packaging issues with one retailer versus another).
Deduction Trends: Users can assess deductions to see if they face chargebacks due to specific vendor violations across retailers. This view enables users to identify if certain compliance issues recur with multiple retailers, suggesting a need for systemic changes.
Data-Driven Negotiation: The export can aid in supplier-retailer negotiations, where users bring data to discuss deduction policies or address recurring issues. Filtered insights by retailer or deduction type could be invaluable for discussions around adjusting terms or reducing common issues
