What is a Target Delivery Receipt?
A Target Delivery Receipt documents what was received by Target at the DC for that appointment. It covers every purchase order expected during that appointment, along with the scheduled quantity and what was actually received, including any damaged or expired units.
Delivery Receipts are cross-PO and cross-vendor documents.
Where can I find Target Delivery Receipts?
Target provides Delivery Receipts on their portal, PartnersOnline, though Target has also said you should be able to get them from your carrier. You can find Target Delivery Receipts in two ways in PartnersOnline (POL):
In the Domestic Payments (DVPA) application, the Delivery Receipt is auto-attached to the deduction and can be downloaded and viewed from there.
Submit a Request for Copy/Info in Synergy to find a Delivery Receipt for a specific document number (deduction or invoice).
Target Delivery Receipts in SPS Revenue Recovery
SPS Revenue Recovery pulls in Delivery Receipts from POL and auto-attaches them Invoice Match deductions and Unpaid Invoices. We continue to check for some time after a deduction is issued in case Target uploads the Delivery Receipt to POL at a later time.
COMING SOON! Delivery Receipt data on the Deduction Details page.
Delivery Receipts are a key piece in the disputing process since they show what Target signed for upon receipt of the PO. Historically, confirming how the PO was signed for meant opening the PDF and sorting through a long list of POs to find the 1 tied to your deduction. We've now made reviewing the Delivery Receipt info easier than ever by pulling out the scheduled, received, and damaged quantities for the specific PO directly on the Deduction Details page.
At this time, damaged quantities are not factored into the "In Full," "Short," or "Over" tag next to the Delivery Receipt.
There may be some instances where the Delivery Receipt PDF is attached to the deduction, but no data is showing, most of the time this will be due either to a delay as we process the Delivery Receipt after finding in PartnersOnline or because we could not confidently read the data on the Delivery Receipt.
