Description
Cargo claims are issued when a shipment is short or damaged, based on documentation such as a freight bill or bill of lading. This reflects the supplier's responsibility for the shortage or damage that occurred during the shipment process.
For Collect shipments, sometimes Walmart issues a shortage deduction to the supplier. The supplier then disputes and wins the dispute, getting a payback from Walmart. We have seen instances where Walmart later takes the approved dollars back via a Cargo Claim invoice in High Radius.
Examples Cargo Claims:
TONU - Truck Ordered Not Used
