Overages, in relation to SQEP, are charges for shipping more than what was ordered. Receiving errors can lead to these charges being invalid, which is why we recommend disputing them all. Similar to OTIF, it is believed you can dispute as far back as 13 months ago of fully invoiced months.
Pull data from SupplyPike
1. Log in to SupplyPike and go to the SQEP app
2. In the SQEP app, pick a month where there was an Overage fine and go to the "Defects” page at the top of the screen
3. On the Defects page, select Overage while in the "PO Accuracy" tab
4. Select the Export option that is for "Current Tab and Filter"
Prep your Excel file for HighRadius
5. When that file downloads, add a column on the end for Dispute Reason and Dispute Amount. Repeat or copy your dispute reason from the first line for all overage charges you are disputing in this Excel file. For the Dispute Amount, just copy the “invoiced charges” from column D Excel file
Dispute in HighRadius
6. Once your file is ready, you can log into HighRadius and look for the specific SQEP invoice these overages belong to. We recommend using the advanced search in the top right and typing “SQEP Inv” into the Doc Type Desc field
7. Once you have filtered to show only SQEP Invoices, find the "Invoice Amount" that matches up to the month you are trying to dispute. This amount will match the total charges labeled on your SupplyPike SQEP Dashboard
8. You then will select that line in HighRadius and hit "dispute" in the upper left-hand corner
9. When you hit dispute, you will get a pop that looks like this. Fill it out:
For Dispute Reason, select Incorrect Billing
For Amount, sum up the overages you are trying to dispute. They want a number without commas
For the Comment, you can enter the dispute reason you used in the Excel file
Then upload your Excel file from earlier as the attachment
10. Once your file is attached, hitting save will submit the dispute, and you are good to go!
Voila!
