Steps to Submit a Dispute to Kroger

SPS Revenue Recovery empowers you to submit deduction disputes with only a few clicks. The process is simple:

  1. View a deduction's detail page.

  2. Update the dispute information and documents that you want to send.

  3. Click Submit Dispute.

The deduction's status will immediately change to Submitting... and the dispute will be scheduled to be submitted behind the scenes. Once the dispute is successfully submitted in Supplier Connect, the status will change to Kroger Research.

Receipt in Supplier Connect

Dispute submission requests are queued and submitted in the order they are received for your company. An individual dispute will typically appear in Supplier Connect within seconds. If you are submitting a large volume in a short period of time, it could take several minutes or even a couple of hours for all disputes to be completed, but rest assured that they are on their way. Once Supplier Connect has received a dispute, the status of Kroger Research will be displayed.

Dispute Tips and Failures

If Supplier Connect will not accept the dispute for a technical reason, then we immediately stop the process and change the status back to Not Disputed. Below are some common failure reasons and helpful tips when submitting disputes.

Select Dispute Type

SPS Revenue Recovery for Kroger automatically suggests the Dispute Type for many deduction codes. On a few codes, it’s not always clear the best Dispute Type to select automatically, so when this occurs, the Dispute Type will show an indicator to let you manually select the best dispute type for this deduction.

You must select a dispute type before submitting the dispute.

Deduction Amount Dispute Limits

Per Kroger policy, some deductions are not eligible to be disputed. Deductions that are not eligible to dispute include all deductions under $100 except:

  1. Code 9 - Pickup Allowance - can be disputed if $75 or more

  2. ORAD deduction types can be dispute if $25 or more
