Coming Soon! Kroger UI Updates to eliminate disputing friction
We are refreshing the Kroger application's UI to better align with Kroger's dispute portal to reduce friction in the dispute process & make it even easier to go after the money you are owed! The updates include grouping deductions into Packages by invoice number & dispute type to ensure similar deductions are disputed together.
This means:
Pre-populated Dispute Types: Say goodbye to missing claim type errors!
Streamlined Disputes: By grouping deductions by invoice and dispute type, we ensure your dispute submissions align perfectly with Kroger's requirements
New Auto-Dispute Settings: Configure your auto-dispute rules by package type – dispute all shortages, regardless of the code (4, 6, 8, SH, etc.)
Improved Data Accuracy: The current app could lead to the same dispute being tied to multiple deduction codes in SPS Commerce; by grouping into Packages we can ensure disputes will not be counted more than once and give you increased confidence in using your SPS Commerce data for reporting.
New! Making Invoice Integrations even easier
Since mid-2024, Kroger has required invoice documents to be attached for a majority of their dispute types. SPS Commerce has been working on providing even more ways for Kroger suppliers to get us their invoices so we can automatically attach to any relevant deductions. See below for the ways you can send us your Kroger invoices & reach out today to get setup so you can go after any dollars you are owed!
CC EDI transaction: Suppliers can now add SPS as a CC on their EDI transactions, which SPS Commerce will then attach to deductions as a PDF!
Suppliers can work with their existing EDI provider to set up. Once complete, SPS Commerce will be copied on all invoices going forward

Email or Shared Drive: Work with your Customer Success Manager to establish a shared email or drive for you to share your invoice PDFs with SPS Commerce. Send all your Kroger invoices here, and SPS Commerce will then automatically attach to relevant deductions!
SPS Fulfillment Customer: If you are a SPS Fulfillment customer, SPS Commerce can automatically get your Invoice PDFs from SPS and attach to relevant deductions - No action needed from you!

Coming 2026! PRGX API to improve app performance
We've partnered with PRGX, the company behind Kroger's dispute portal, to access deduction data via APIs. Gathering deduction information via API will improve SPS Commerce's ability to accurately & consistently update a supplier's data in the Revenue Recovery application. By using the API, we can reduce errors around invoices missing or stale data due to connection issues. The API switch will also enable SPS Commerce to continue to grow the buckets of Kroger RevLoss supported in our app - setting you up to get even more value out of the app in the future!
We are confident this change will improve the experience for our Kroger suppliers - but we need your help first by signing an agreement for SPS Commerce to access your data via PRGX's APIs.
